THEY WERE CREATED BY GOD AT CREATION

For by Him all things were created that are
in heaven and that are on earth, visible and
invisible, whether thrones or dominions or
principalities or powers. All things were created
through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:16

 Now there was a day when the sons of God
came to present themselves before the Lord,
and Satan also came among them. Job 1:6

I said, “You are gods, And all of you are
children of the Most High. Psalms 82:6

 THEY ARE SPIRITS

Who makes His angels spirits, His
ministers a flame of fire. Psalms 104:4

Are they not all ministering spirits
sent forth to minister for those who
will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:14

THEY RESIDE IN HEAVEN

Thus the heavens and the earth,
and all the host of them, were
finished. Genesis 2:1

And He said to him, “Most assuredly,
I say to you, hereafter you shall see
heaven open, and the angels of God
ascending and descending upon the
Son of Man.” John 1:51

THEY ARE INVISIBLE TO US

Then the Lord opened the eyes of
the young man, and he saw. And
behold, the mountain was full of
horses and chariots of fire all
around Elisha. 2nd Kings 6:17

THEY CAN MANIFEST AS MEN

So the woman came and told her husband,
saying, A Man of God came to me, and His
countenance was like the countenance of the
Angel of God, very awesome. Judges 13:6

And entering the tomb, they saw
a young man clothed in a long white
robe sitting on the right side; and
they were alarmed. Mark 16:5

The angel whom I saw standing on
the sea and on the land raised up his
hand to heaven. Revelation 10:5

THEY BRED WITH HUMAN WOMAN
AND CREATED A RACE OF GIANTS

There were giants on the earth in those
days, and also afterward, when the sons
of God came in to the daughters of men
and they bore children to them. Those
were the mighty men who were of old,
men of renown. Genesis 6:4

THEY ARE GLORIOUS BEINGS

I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold,
a certain man clothed in linen, whose
waist was girded with gold of Uphaz!

His body was like beryl, his face like the
appearance of lightning, his eyes like
torches of fire, his arms and feet like
burnished bronze in color, and the sound
of his words like the voice of a multitude.
Daniel 10:5

SERAPHIM ANGELS

Above it stood seraphim; each one had
six wings: with two he covered his face,
with two he covered his feet, and with
two he flew. Isaiah 6:2

CHERUBIM ANGELS

Each one had four faces and each
one four wings, and the likeness
of the hands of a man was under
their wings. Ezekiel 10:21

Each one had four faces: the first face
was the face of a cherub, the second
face the face of a man, the third the
face of a lion, and the fourth the face
of an eagle. Ezekiel 10:14

COMMON ANGELS

I saw still another mighty angel coming
down from heaven, clothed with a cloud.
And a rainbow was on his head, his face
was like the sun, and his feet like pillars
of fire. Revelation 10:1

His countenance was like lightning,
and his clothing as white as snow.
Matthew 28:3

THE FOUR LIVING CREATURES

Before the throne there was a sea of glass,
like crystal. And in the midst of the throne,
and around the throne, were four living
creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

The first living creature was like a
lion, the second living creature like
a calf, the third living creature had
a face like a man, and the fourth living
creature was like a flying eagle.

The four living creatures, each having six
wings, were full of eyes around and within.
And they do not rest day or night, saying:
“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who
was and is and is to come!” Revelation 4:6

GOD’S ARCHANGEL MICHAEL

Yet Michael the archangel, in contending
with the devil, when he disputed about
the body of Moses, dared not bring
against him a reviling accusation, but said,
“The Lord rebuke you!” Jude 1:9

And war broke out in heaven:
Michael and his angels fought
with the dragon; and the
dragon and his angels fought.
Revelation 12:7

GOD’S ANGEL GABRIEL

Yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the
man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the
vision at the beginning, being caused to
fly swiftly, reached me about the time
of the evening offering. Daniel 9:21

Now in the sixth month the angel
Gabriel was sent by God to a city of
Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin
betrothed to a man whose name was
Joseph, of the house of David. The
virgin’s name was Mary. Luke 1:26

And the angel answered and said to him,
I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence
of God, and was sent to speak to you and
bring you these glad tidings. Luke 1:19

THEY CAN CONTROL NATURE

After these things I saw four angels
standing at the four corners of the
earth, holding the four winds of the
earth, that the wind should not blow
on the earth, on the sea, or on any
tree. Revelation 7:1

Then the fourth angel sounded: And a
third of the sun was struck, a third of
the moon, and a third of the stars, so
that a third of them were darkened. A
third of the day did not shine, and
likewise the night. Revelation 8:12

THEY EAT FOOD

Had rained down manna on them to eat,
And given them of the bread of heaven.
Men ate angels’ food; He sent them food
to the full. Psalms 78:24

But he insisted strongly; so they
turned in to him and entered his
house. Then he made them a feast,
and baked unleavened bread, and
they ate. Genesis 19:3

So he took butter and milk and the calf
which he had prepared, and set it before
them; and he stood by them under the
tree as they ate. Genesis 18:8

THEY DO NOT MARRY OR DIE

But those who are counted worthy to
attain that age, and the resurrection
from the dead, neither marry nor are
given in marriage nor can they die
anymore, for they are equal to the
angels and are sons of God, being
sons of the resurrection. Luke 20:36

THEY DO THE WILL OF GOD

Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel
in strength, who do His word, Heeding
the voice of His word. Psalms 103:20

And then He will send His angels, and
gather together His elect from the four
winds, from the farthest part of earth to
the farthest part of heaven. Mark 13:27

THEY WORSHIP GOD

And one cried to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!”
Isaiah 6:2

All the angels stood around the throne
and the elders and the four living creatures,
and fell on their faces before the throne and
worshiped God, saying:
“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and
might, Be to our God forever and ever.
Amen.” Revelation 7:11

THEY ARE GOD’S ARMY

Or do you think that I cannot now
pray to My Father, and He will provide
Me with more than twelve legions of
angels? Matthew 26:53

Let them be like chaff before the
wind, And let the angel of the
Lord chase them. Psalms 35:5

THEY ARE GOD’S DESTROYER

And it came to pass on a certain night
that the angel of the Lord went out,
and killed in the camp of the
Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five
thousand. 2nd Kings 19:35

And God sent an angel to Jerusalem
to destroy it. As he was destroying,
the Lord looked and relented of the
disaster. 1st Chronicles 21:15

Then immediately an angel of the
Lord struck him, because he did
not give glory to God. And he was
eaten by worms and died. Acts 12:23

THEY ARE GOD’S MESSENGERS

Then he said to me, “These words are faithful
and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets
sent His angel to show His servants the things
which must shortly take place. Revelation 22:6

Then I saw another angel flying in the
midst of heaven, having the everlasting
gospel to preach to those who dwell on
the earth–to every nation, tribe, tongue,
and people. Revelation 14:6

THEY ARE GOD’S GUARDIAN

So He drove out the man; and He
placed cherubim at the east of the
garden of Eden, and a flaming sword
which turned every way, to guard the
way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:24

THEY ARE AN INNUMERABLE MULTITUDE

A fiery stream issued And came
forth from before Him. A thousand
thousands ministered to Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand
stood before Him. Daniel 7:10

Then I looked, and I heard the voice of
many angels around the throne, the
living creatures, and the elders; and the
number of them was ten thousand times
ten thousand, and thousands of thousands.
Revelation 5:11

Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam,
prophesied about these men also, saying,
Behold, the Lord comes with ten
thousands of His saints. Jude 1:14

THEY ASSIST IN GOD’S MIRACLES

But while he thought about these things,
behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to
him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of
David, do not be afraid to take to you
Mary your wife, for that which is conceived
in her is of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:20

And the angel answered and said to her,
The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and
the power of the Highest will overshadow
you; therefore, also, that Holy One who
is to be born will be called the Son of God.
Luke 1:35

THEY HELP JESUS WHEN HE RETURNS

And He will send His angels with a great
sound of a trumpet, and they will gather
together His elect from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other.
Matthew 24:31

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and
all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit
on the throne of His glory. Matthew 25:31

And to give you who are troubled rest
with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed
from heaven with His mighty angels.
2nd Thessalonians 1:7

THEY HELP JESUS AT FINAL JUDGEMENT

The Son of Man will send out His angels,
and they will gather out of His kingdom
all things that offend, and those who
practice lawlessness, and will cast them
into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing
and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:41

So it will be at the end of the age. The
angels will come forth, separate the wicked
from among the just. Matthew 13:49

WE ARE ASSIGNED ANGELS

“Take heed that you do not despise one of
these little ones, for I say to you that in
heaven their angels always see the face of
My Father who is in heaven. For the Son of
Man has come to save that which was lost.
Matthew 18:10

To them it was revealed that, not to themselves,
but to us they were ministering the things which
now have been reported to you through those
who have preached the gospel to you by the
Holy Spirit sent from heaven–things which
angels desire to look into. 1st Peter 1:12

THEY REJOICE IN OUR SALVATION

Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the
presence of the angels of God over one
sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10

THEY GUIDE OUR JOURNEY

Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,
“Arise and go toward the south along the road
which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”
This is desert. Acts 8:26

Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep
you in the way and to bring you into the
place which I have prepared. Exodus 23:20

And the Angel of God, who went before
the camp of Israel, moved and went
behind them; and the pillar of cloud
went from before them and stood
behind them. Exodus 14:19

THEY AID US

Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels
came and ministered to Him. Matthew 4:11

But at night an angel of the Lord opened the
prison doors and brought them out, and said,
“Go, stand in the temple and speak to the
people all the words of this life.” Acts 5:19

THEY GIVE US DIRECTION

Now when they had departed, behold,
an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph
in a dream, saying, Arise, take the young
Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and
stay there until I bring you word.
Matthew 2:13

When the morning dawned, the angels
urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take
your wife and your two daughters who
are here, lest you be consumed in the
punishment of the city.” Genesis 19:15

THEY ARE OUR PROTECTORS

For He shall give His angels charge over
you, To keep you in all your ways. In their
hands they shall bear you up, Lest you
dash your foot against a stone. Psalms 91:11

My God sent His angel and shut the
lions’ mouths, so that they have not
hurt me, because I was found innocent
before Him; and also, O king, I have
done no wrong before you. Daniel 6:22

“Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose,
walking in the midst of the fire; and they
are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is
like the Son of God.” Daniel 3:25

THEY CAN APPEAR AS A STRANGER

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for
by so doing some have unwittingly
entertained angels. Hebrews 13:2

WE DO NOT WORSHIP ANGELS

And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he
said to me, “See that you do not do that! I
am your fellow servant, and of your brethren
who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship
God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit
of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10

LUCIFER/SATAN AND FALLEN ANGELS

You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl,
onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise,
and emerald with gold. The workmanship
of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared
for you on the day you were created.
Ezekiel 28:13

You were the anointed cherub who covers;
I established you; You were on the holy
mountain of God; You walked back and forth
in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect
in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you. Ezekiel 28:14

So the great dragon was cast out, that
serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan,
who deceives the whole world; he was
cast to the earth, and his angels were
cast out with him. Revelation 12:9

And He said to them, “I saw
Satan fall like lightning from
heaven. Luke 10:18

For if God did not spare the angels
who sinned, but cast them down to
hell and delivered them into chains
of darkness, to be reserved for
judgment. 2^nd Peter 2:4
