THE LIVING GOD – YAHWEH

In order to believe in God you must know Him and what He is capable of.

GOD IS A TRINITY

He is the Father (Yahweh), the Son (Jesus) and
the Holy Spirit (The Spirit of God).
God in three different forms at the same time.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God, and the communion
of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Amen. 2^nd Corinthians 13:14

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

THERE IS ONLY ONE LIVING GOD,
HE IS THE GOD OF THE HOLY BIBLE

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men,
the Man Christ Jesus. 1^st Timothy 2:5

But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting
King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations
will not be able to endure His indignation. Jeremiah 10:10

Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying,
‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ Isaiah 46:9

GOD CREATED EVERYTHING

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face
of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1:1

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;
let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air,
and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing
that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 1:26

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are
on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or
principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. Colossians 1:16

GOD CREATED MAN FOR HIMSELF

So God created man in His own image;
in the image of God He created him; male
and female He created them. Genesis 1:27

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7

The Lord has made all for Himself, Yes, even the
wicked for the day of doom. Proverbs 16:4

For it is God who works in you both to will and
to do for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

GOD IS ALL KNOWING – OMNISCIENT

 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power;
His understanding is infinite. Psalms 147:5

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom
and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments
and His ways past finding out! Romans 11:33

For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart,
and knows all things. 1^st John 3:20

And there is no creature hidden from His sight,
but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him
to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:13

GOD CONTROLS EVERYTHING

A man’s heart plans his way, But the
Lord directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9

There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel,
that will stand. Proverbs 19:21

GOD RECEIVES THE GLORY & PRAISE FOR EVERYTHING

 You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor
and power; For You created all things, And by Your
will they exist and were created.” Revelation 4:11

 GOD IS A SPIRIT AND THE TRUTH

 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him
must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come,
He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak
on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak;
and He will tell you things to come. John 16:13

 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born of water and the Spirit,
he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh,
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:5

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.
The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63

GOD IS INVISIBLE TO US, BUT HE DOES EXIST

But He said, “You cannot see My face;
for no man shall see Me, and live.” Exodus 33:20

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son,
who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. John 1:18

Who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light,
whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor
and everlasting power. Amen. 1^st Timothy 6:16

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise,
be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 1^st Timothy 1:17

WE LIVE WITH THE INVISIBLE EVERYDAY AND RELY ON IT

 You cannot see the wind but you believe in it.
You cannot see odors but you know they are present.
You cannot see voices flying through the air but they reach your cell phone.
You cannot see music flying through the air but it reaches your car radio.
You cannot see data flying through the air but it reaches your wireless laptop.
You cannot see emails flying through the air but
you can send them across the world in seconds.

GOD CREATED ALL OF IT AND MUCH, MUCH MORE

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2nd Corinthians 5:7

GOD MADE US THE TEMPLE OF HIS SPIRIT

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and
that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1^st Corinthians 3:16

In whom the whole building, being joined together,
grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom
you also are being built together for a dwelling
place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:21

I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes,
and you will keep My judgments and do them. Ezekiel 36:27

GOD WANTS A RELATIONSHIP WITH US

 But from there you will seek the Lord your God,
and you will find Him if you seek Him with all
your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29

Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice
who seek the Lord! Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore! 1^st Chronicles 16:10

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall
give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37:4

I love those who love me, And those who seek me
diligently will find me. Riches and honor are with me,
Enduring riches and righteousness. Proverbs 8:17

GIVE GOD CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE & RECEIVE HIS BLESSING

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
and whose hope is the Lord. Jeremiah 17:7

A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want. Psalms 23:1

GOD HAS A WILL AND HE WANTS US TO KNOW IT

 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who
sees the son and believes in Him may have everlasting life;
and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:40

And the world Is passing away, and the lust of it;
but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1^st John 2:17

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear,
but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom
we cry out, Abba, Father. Romans 8:14

Therefore you shall keep My commandments,
and perform them: I am the Lord. Leviticus 22:31

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS 

                        (1)   YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME
                          (2)   YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FOR YOURSELF A CARVED IMAGE
                          (3)   YOU SHALL NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD IN VAIN
                          (4)   REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY
                          (5)   HONOR YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER
                          (6)   YOU SHALL NOT MURDER
                          (7)   YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY
                          (8)   YOU SHALL NOT STEAL
                          (9)   YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS
                          (10) YOU SHALL NOT COVET

GOD HAS THINGS HE DOES NOT LIKE 

Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity,
sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger,
rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things
like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who
do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.
Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it.
Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to
mate with it. It is perversion. Leviticus 18:22

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women
exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise, also the men,
leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another,
men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves
the penalty of their error which was due. Romans 1:26

For whoever commits any of these abominations, the persons who
commit them shall be cut off from among their people. Therefore,
you shall keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these
abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do
not defile yourselves by them: I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 18:29

These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an
abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises
wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil,
A false witness who speaks lies, And one who
sows discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:16

A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man,
nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so
are an abomination to the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 22:5

WE REMOVE OURSELVES FROM THE MADNESS OF THIS WORLD

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that
good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is
the victory that has overcome the world–our faith. 1^st John 5:4

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2

GOD IS WITH US AT ALL TIMES

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage;
do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God
is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us,
who can be against us? Romans 8:31

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock,
and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who
seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

 WORSHIP GOD BY LIVING TO DO HIS WILL

 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven,
but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Matthew 7:21

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you
should abstain from sexual immorality. 1^st Thessalonians 4:3

 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that
good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

Your Kingdom come. Your will be done.
On earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10

 WORSHIP GOD WITH DAILY THANKFUL PRAYER

 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God
in Christ Jesus for you. 1^st Thessalonians 5:18

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the
peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in
it with thanksgiving; Colossians 4:2

 WORSHIP GOD BY READING HIS WORD

 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Matthew 4:4

 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of
God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2^nd Timothy 3:16

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Psalms 119:105

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10: 17

 WORSHIP GOD BY TRUSTING IN HIM

 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord. Jeremiah 17:7

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not
on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5

Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness
as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Psalms 37:5

 WORSHIP GOD BY CASTING YOUR CARES UPON HIM

Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you. Psalms 55:22

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God,
that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care
upon Him, for He cares for you. 1^st Peter 5:6

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn
from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28

WORSHIP GOD BY REPENTING & TURNING AWAY FROM SIN

 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19

 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1^st john 1:9

 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance. Luke 5:32

BE PATIENT & WAIT ON GOD’S MANIFESTATIONS

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:25

Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God
of my salvation; My God will hear me. Micah 7:7

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and
not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen
your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! Psalms 27:14

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him. Psalms 37:7

GOD WANTS EVERYONE TO BE SAVED

 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
who desires all men to be saved and to come to
the knowledge of the truth. 1^st Timothy 2:4

But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure,
without fear of evil. Proverbs 1:33
